Ladykat Hall of Fame
The following Laykat has been inducted into the Sylvania Athletic Hall of Fame.
Deanna Kreidel Bath
(Inducted October, 30 2009)
Deanna is a Ladykat Alumni of the class of 1992. As a basketball player she was a three year letter winner, was 1st Team All GLL three years, 1st Team All District 7 two years, she attained both GLL and District 7 Player of the Year her senior year, 1st Team All Ohio AP her senior year as well as many other accolades during her years at Northview. At the time of graduation she was the All-time leading scorer with 1253 points.
Deanna was also an outstanding soccer and softball player as well. She recieved numerous awards for both sports as follows. Soccer: 1st Team GLL (4yrs), 1st Team NWOSSL (3yrs), four year varsity letter winner, 2nd Team All-Ohio (2yrs), and GLL Player of the Year her senior year. Softball: Four year varsity letter winner, 1st Team GLL (3yrs), 1st Team All NW Ohio (2yrs), 1st Team All-Ohio (Sr.), and GLL Player of the Year her senior year.
Deanna went on to play collegiate soccer at Duke University from 1992-1995. She also played Semi-Professional soccer from 1998-2007 for the Charlotte Eagles where she enjoyed a National Championship in the USISL in 2001, was National Defensive Player of the Year in 2002, and was All Conference in 2003.
Deanna is happily married to William Bath Jr. and they recently welcomed their first child, Grayson. Deanna enjoys a rewarding career as a Physician's Assitant in Charlotte, NC.
